Landscapes

Capturing the “sense of place” on an image is not an easy task, given that our eyes have a much larger dynamic range than that of our Digital SLR cameras.  Distilling all the information to create an image that is pleasing is the challenge the landscape photographer faces.  We have come to Centennial Park for a practical lesson in landscape photography. 

The challenge is to create a sense of depth in the image, so we must be mindful to choose an aperture that will ensure sufficient depth of field, with both the background and foreground in focus.  It is a beautiful sunny winters day as I wander the park in search of inspiration.
