We are finally starting to
feel rested after finally arriving back in Sydney after our 7-month adventure
in Europe and Sri Lanka. The past few
weeks have been busy unpacking, re-establishing our lives and catching up with
friends and family. We were asked to put
in a proposal for a job by a local council so we had to hit the ground running
when we returned.
We are here at Crosslands to
celebrate my birthday and to catch up with our neighbourhood friends. It is a beautiful day and our friends have
brought loads of food and drinks and a kayak for a bit of fun in the water. Steve and I are so exhausted that all we
really want to do is lie under a tree and do nothing!
It is a great day of reconnecting
with our local community, fun in the sun and friendship.
